We need Billy Joel

2024 got off to a rough start. I think we need Billy Joel to rewrite "We didn't Start the Fire" circa 1989, to do a second version to help us get through this.

Yes, there's a cease fire between Israel and Hamas right now. But, you know, who knows how long that's going to last? Russia is formally giving Belarus the ability to launch their tactical nuclear weapons. The Belarusian President, by the way, he's trigger happy. Not to mention the fact that the Russian President can't stop mentioning nuclear weapons pretty much any time he speaks publicly. So, we have that to deal with.

A sizable portion of the US naval fleet is in the Red Sea because of what's going on with the Houthis who have now been designated a terrorist organization by the United States. The Houthis hit a cargo ships causing oil tankers to divert the paths from the Red Sea, trying to avoid the area.

We've got Iran firing missiles on Iraq and Syria. Iran also fired a rocket at Pakistan. Then ISIS, surprise! surprise! they're back, I mean, they never truly left. They were just kind of hiding in place to regroup. They claimed responsibility for an attack in Iran back in January.

Let's wrap this in a bow. We are going into the 2024 U.S. Presidential Elections, which we all know will be a rollercoaster ride.

It's going to be a busy year.
