President Putin would very much like the United States and Europe to conjure an exit strategy that allows the Russian Federation to exit Ukraine in a dignified manner. This is what I gleamed from President Putin's remarks to Tucker Carlson. It was subtle and indirect, but it was there.

Russia is Eurasia. It is both east and west facing. The Russian Federation is generating revenue from the Power of Siberia, Chinese and Indian markets, as well as business with some Arab nations. Even then, Russia still needs the political and economic access to the West.
